The acclaimed Bollywood personality has roped in child actor Arsheen Namdaar as Avni along with one of television's most popular faces; BarkhaBisht as Asha who will be Avni's mother.
Barkha who has acted in various shows and has charmed the audiences with her acting prowess was one of the first few choices to be cast as Asha. Mahesh Bhatt, who has personally looked into every aspect of the show was sure to cast Barkha as Avni's mother.
On being quizzed about the same, the acclaimed filmmaker said, "The casting for this show is very apt. Right from Arsheen who a power house of talent at the mere of 10 to Barkha who has a I have followed Barkha's work and she has a certain charm to her personality that makes her look really good on screen. The way she presents herself is what reminds me of the late actress Smita Patil. Barkha makes for more sensuous version of Smita who in herself was extremely enigmatic performer. Barkha too has a similar electrifying talent. The kind of beauty and grace she possesses is very rare to find and I’m very happy with my choice."
